Our lead creative designer and founder
I often think it was serendipity that led me to designing dream weddings and creating statement florals for clients who align so perfectly with my authentic style.
I’ve always been a lover of bold colour palettes, designer fashion, art, architecture and sexy interior design—all of which continue to heavily influence my work today. Yet, my original career path was in a completely different realm.
I began as a Physiotherapist, yoga teacher, and Pilates instructor before taking a sabbatical to travel the world. This adventure led me to become a chief stewardess in the superyacht industry.
While working in some of the world’s most luxurious destinations, I curated new-build yacht interiors and orchestrated elaborate onboard events despite challenging logistics. This experience sparked a creative passion and inspired me to pursue similar opportunities when I returned to Sydney. After enrolling in floristry and interior design courses, I founded this business—originally known as ‘Boujee Blooms and Styling.’
Fast forward three years, we’ve rebranded with our fresh ‘BOUJEEHAUS’ identity that embodies our edgy, artistic style and rebellious, sassy attitude. I feel incredibly grateful for the positive impact we’ve had on our clients lives, many of whom I now consider lifelong friends. I’m equally excited that our distinct boujee aesthetic continues to attract like minded clients who envision and embrace the same kind of epic, ‘outside of the box’ design ideas that we do.
When I’m not juggling the many facets of the business or dressing to match my floral creations, you’ll likely find me at a new restaurant, perfectly coordinating my outfit with the venue’s interior, dirty martini (or perfectly paired cocktail) in hand. (Because business or personal - the smaller details matter)!
